WFN Operations Manager Debbie Constantine hosted a Zoom Social for WFN members to connect and chat. Debbie said: “These Zoom sessions are a nice way for members to stay connected throughout the year, in between our annual meetings. We had members from Bangladesh, Netherlands, Poland and UAE in attendance today.
Each member on the call was able to introduce themselves, and give some details on their company services and strengths. We discussed how business is in different regions at the end of 2024, what it might be like in the coming year, and business exchanged within the network.
I was able to provide some guidance on how to better promote themselves within WFN, the various ways I can assist with this, to get them noticed and ideally garner even more business from the group.
We also touched upon the challenges that independent forwarders face; how relationships with Shipping and Air lines have changed over the years – they are not so accessible and it’s more difficult than in the past.
All members on the call confirmed they will be attending the upcoming WFN meeting in Thailand, which is great to hear.
