WFN members Key Logistics Sweden shared one of their more unusual shipments with the network. Bjorn Sjoberg, Export Manager, told WFN more:
“We have handled some odd shipments over the years, and this one we did in August. Key Logistics delivered a shipment of a public toilet from the North of Sweden to Sandown, Isle of Wight, UK. The toilets dimensions was 783x338x325 cm and the weight was over 10 tons.
Some parts of the road in the city center was closed by the council between 11-12 a clock so that our truck could get to the delivery site without any traffic.
All went as planned and for those coming to Isle of Wight next summer, you have a new place to visit!”
