WFN members Soulistic Group, Mexico, have successfully completed a complex oversized machinery relocation project for a major client in the food industry, demonstrating their expertise in project logistics, specialised freight handling and cross-border transportation.

The project involved the transportation of a Rotary Blowing Wheel for a Moulding System (“MEGA 18 DP N2N wheel”) from Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, to York, Pennsylvania, USA. The main component measured 5.4 metres in length, 3.0 metres in width and 3.97 metres in height, requiring specialised handling and transportation equipment throughout the move.
Soulistic Group secured the project through a competitive tender process by offering a comprehensive end-to-end solution covering every stage of the operation. Working alongside their sister company, Fisch&Fisch Mexico, the team managed site preparation, machinery dismantling, packing, consolidation, customs procedures and door-to-door transportation.

One of the most critical aspects of the project was preparing the work area to prevent contamination of neighbouring food production zones. Following the encapsulation and protection measures, the machinery was carefully dismantled, packed and loaded onto specialised equipment, including a 53-foot box trailer and a low-boy trailer for the oversized wheel component.
The shipment then moved via the busy Nuevo Laredo/Laredo, Texas corridor, where Soulistic Group’s customs expertise ensured seamless cross-border transit and regulatory compliance. Through careful planning, specialised equipment and close operational coordination, the machinery arrived safely and on schedule at the client’s facility in Pennsylvania.
