WFN is a thriving community and many of our members have been friends for years. We get together once a year at our annual conference, but often there are meetings throughout the year, too, as our members visit one another.
Sanjiv at Mayco Freight & Travels India recently met with fellow WFN member Peter of Ontour Transport Service Germany. Sanjiv shared a photo in the WFN WhatsApp group, saying, ‘Nice meeting Peter today in his office’.
The post immediately met with comments and hearts – and a few jokes, with Aidan at Your Cargo Contact UK noticing the wine bottles in the background and saying, ‘Is that a bar?’ Peter replied, ‘It’s our meeting room!’ with another member, Pradeep, joking, ‘They’re wall pictures’.
This fun exchange shows how our WFN members are not just business partners, but good friends. Business discussions between such long term partners can indeed happen anywhere, be it an office room, a conference centre or a bar!
