Having been established nearly 20 years ago, WFN has grown and evolved and seen a new generation of forwarders start to attend its annual meetings.
Sander from Silco Worldwide in the Netherlands has taken up the torch from his late father, Ron, who was a beloved Founder Member of our network family. At our most recent member meeting in Dubai, Sander and WFN MD Kelly enjoyed looking at the past meeting photographs and talking about the long history of the network, and how meaningful the relationships within WFN are.
Kelly added: “One of the most important aspects of our network, is the family feel. It’s referenced time and time again by our members, both at the meetings and throughout the year. Yes, we want our members to be professional, diliegent and eager for business, but more than that, we want people who are keen to do business as friends, as a family. Trust and care, and friendship, that’s the WFN way.”
