Dear WFN Members

I hope you are well.

We are regularly being advised of payments arriving short, and we at Head Office also receive short payments, due to senders not bearing the charges. We recommend, as best practice, that the sender bears any intermediary bank charges. Please endeavour to ensure that the full payment reaches your partners. Do also please note that when meeting fees reach us short, we will shorten your membership year accordingly, as the meeting fee must be covered.

It’s also worth bearing in mind that WFN has an alliance with Wise (formerly Transferwise),to enable you to send payments without incurring high transfer fees and high exchange rates. Wise is approved by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK. You can read more about how it works, and find answers to any questions on Wise’s Help Page, here. Or please mail Debbie for the details.

Hoorah, the list is growing. 😊

You surely don’t want to miss our event, after 3 years apart?! I can’t wait to meet as many of you as possible at Hotel Croatia Cavtat in October.

THANK YOU to everybody below for signing up and committing to pay. The list continues to grow; will you be the one to get us to 115,120 delegates? The WFN Meeting Manager system will be opening soon, on Monday 1st August. Delegates who have paid the full fee by this date will be able to log in to their designated account and start to schedule their 1-2-1 meetings with fellow members. Pay quickly so you can secure the best appointments.

Opposite to the online events, your schedules will be open, so log in on 1st if you want to make yourself unavailable at certain times.

As many of you are aware, we were booked and ready to go to Costa Rica for our 2020 meeting, before it had to be cancelled. I am keen to move our meetings back to their usual March timeslot, but also aware that with an event in October 2022, March 2023 will be too soon to run another meeting. I therefore propose to run our 2023 meeting in June, in Costa Rica, then 2024 will be back in March.  As per my earlier email this week, we do need to assess the level of interest before I can sign contracts. Please let Debbie know this week: YES or CAN’T COMMIT.

I wanted to remind you that we have an alliance with leading credit insurer and receivables management company Coface, in order to support our members with industry leading business intelligence, credit insurance and debt collection services. You may already have credit insurance in place. However, there is no harm in having another consultation to ensure you have the most competitive deal, with a provider who fully understands your needs.
