Caspian Freight is a South African clearing and forwarding company with a strong history in the wire and steel manufacturing sector.
The company was founded in 1996 by Boyd Naidoo, following many years of experience in clearing and forwarding, exports, imports and the wire and steel manufacturing industry. His extensive industry knowledge and established relationships provided the foundations for Caspian Freight.
Today, Caspian Freight remains a family business, with Boyd’s children, nephews and staff continuing to develop the company following his passing in 2021.
The company operates from offices in Johannesburg and Durban, handling export and import operations and providing services to some of South Africa’s largest manufacturers and exporters of wire and steel.
Caspian Freight has also expanded into transport operations, with a fleet of 10 long-distance tri-axle trucks operating between Durban and Johannesburg.
