WFN member Scanlon Freight Limited, UK, is celebrating its 5th anniversary!
Established in September 2021, Scanlon Freight has reached an impressive five-year milestone, marking half a decade of delivering customer-focused freight forwarding and customs clearance solutions to clients around the world.
Based in Egham, Surrey, close to London Heathrow Airport, Scanlon Freight operates with a small, highly experienced team specialising in international air freight and dedicated road freight to and from the EU. With more than 40 years of combined freight forwarding experience within the team, the company brings a wealth of industry knowledge to every shipment and is particularly focused on finding solutions to challenging and time-critical logistics requirements.
The company supports customers across a range of specialist sectors, including aviation, healthcare, cruise and marine, energy and high-tech. Its key areas of expertise include pharmaceutical, marine ship spares and aviation spares logistics, where reliability, communication and speed are essential.
Managing Director Mark Scanlon shared:
“We wanted to share a company milestone with the World Freight Network community, as Scanlon Freight is celebrating five years since we began trading in September 2021.
Over the past five years, we have completed more than 3,500 jobs and moved over 2.5 million kilos of freight for customers around the world. Our work today spans air freight, express road freight, aircraft charter, onboard courier, cross-trade logistics and customs clearance, supporting customers across the aviation, healthcare, cruise & marine, energy and high-tech sectors.
While we are proud of the growth of the business, the biggest achievement for us has been building a strong and committed team around Scanlon Freight. Our people are at the heart of the service we provide, taking ownership of every shipment and supporting our customers when timing, communication and reliability really matter.
